Philippians 3:12 Not that I have already obtained all this, or have already been made perfect, but I press on to take hold of that for which Christ Jesus took hold of me.
I am feeling a little battle weary lately. I am ready to take a week and just pause life to get rejuvenated. I know that this feeling is all part of the journey, those times when I feel as though I am just plain worn out and my mind can no longer think. Those are the times when I need to pause and listen. Times when I need to be in the presence of God for the sake of being in the presence of God. Not looking for something profound to learn, or something prophetic to be said, just being with my Creator. These are times when I ask Jesus the question, "Why did you take hold of me?" and he can remind me of who He created me to be. Only when I know who I am in Christ can I press on toward the goal. Jesus, remind me of who I am in you.
